Lovely pictures! I've been moving towards more native plants in my garden, especially butterfly attracting plants, but I still have a soft spot for some of my hardier transplants, like the impatiens and gardenias.
The jasmine that covers our back fence is blooming now, and the perfume fills the air at night.
Thanks. I enjoy taking flower pictures and am proud of our native plant selections. We had a lot of help. My wife worked with Carl Hunter on a wildflower meadow before he died. Carl showed us places to legally get native plants and talked with us about the best places to plant them.
Beginning this was a snap decision. There are some things that are sufficiently important or funny that I want to share. These are sometimes affairs. Such things tend to be thin on the ground, which means I wont post daily, perhaps not even weekly.
You shouldn't expect profound thoughts or philosophies. As I get older, I find that I have fewer thoughts, shallower too. I have never claimed to be a deep thinker, nor do I believe myself to be subtle.
If this sounds dull or jejeune, please turn away. But if you elect to continue, Thank You. I look forward to your comments.

Dear Darlene,
Thanks. I enjoy taking flower pictures and am proud of our native plant selections. We had a lot of help. My wife worked with Carl Hunter on a wildflower meadow before he died. Carl showed us places to legally get native plants and talked with us about the best places to plant them.
